About Eleanor

Based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry, local financial planner Murnane Financial was founded in 2013 by financial advisor Eleanor Murnane.

Recognising the frustrations of so many people who felt overwhelmed, embarrassed, uncomfortable or in the dark about their finances, Eleanor felt that people were not being given the opportunity to always make the right decisions or get the best deals on their policies. Passionate about allaying the common fears and concerns around the often-intimidating and ever-changing financial world, Eleanor set out to overturn the cliché of the vague or pushy insurance salesman.

Undertaking a Degree in Business Studies and Marketing in Tralee’s Institute of Technology, Eleanor gained experience in the retail banking arena before setting up her own financial services business. Eleanor is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) under the Life Insurance Associate (LIA) and adheres to the Compulsory Professional Development (CPD) system. She is also a member of Brokers Ireland which is a professional financial body. Murnane Financial is regulated by The Central Bank of Ireland.
